My tigers are teething

Faucaria tigrina are called Tigerrachen in German, which means tiger throat.
And now they are getting their teeth. Up until now the leaves had smooth edges but the last few leaf pairs showed some bumps on the edges.

Now they have got really long thorns. But these thorns are very soft and they don't sting. So you could say that my faucarias don't bite.

It's been a while since I took pictures of them and the teething phase was some time ago. So the difference to the pictures in the last post is quite big.

Now, this looks like a real faucaria tigrina! I'm quite proud of them, actually. They turned out to be beautiful plants and they seem to like it here.
